4 Borneo Bandit – Approaching the back turn improved onto heels a short distance later appeared injured. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hind back muscle was stood down from racing for 28 days. Trainer’s representative J Schmidt was advised the greyhound must complete a steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

5 High Suite – Slow to begin, into the back turn was inconvenienced. |

7 Summer's Queen – Approaching the 1st turn was checked, in the home straight was held up for clear running. |

8 Khandela – Slow to begin, into the 1st turn improved onto heels and was inconvenienced. Raced wide for the entire event. Stewards questioned trainer K Hoggan in regards the greyhound’s box manners, K Hoggan stated the greyhound is often a bit tardy away. K Hoggan further added the greyhound had got its tail underneath the rear door on the boxes tonight and had only noticed just as the lure had got to the boxes and was of the view this had a detrimental effect on the way the dog began tonight. |
