5 Oh So Lucky – Checked and gave ground on the home turn. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side foreleg injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

7 Barefoot Kena – Checked and taken wide by another runner on the home turn.

8 Mr. Wesley – Checked on the first turn.

6 Nando Quinn – Faulted in its action and collided with another runner on the home turn and took no further part in the race. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed an off side wrist injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

All clear was delayed to afford the Stewards the opportunity to view the films in relation to some ducks on the track in the home straight, after doing so stewards were comfortable that no greyhound was effected and all clear was given on the judges numbers.

1 Mr. Barack – Tired in the home straight. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Keith Boan in relation to the greyhound’s performance, Mr Boan stated the greyhound ran to his expectations and may not be suited to the 331m distance, Stewards noted his submissions.
