Race 1 – BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 520m

3 Little Flush – Entering the first turn was tightened then checked. Rounding the home turn marred another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near fore metacarpal injury and was stood down from racing for 14 days. Stewards spoke to trainer Rod Herr regarding the greyhound’s racing actions rounding the home turn, after reviewing the video replay the submissions from Mr Herr, stewards deemed that Little Flush had turned its head outwardly towards Sienna Sunrise making muzzle contact. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) as this was the greyhound’s 1^st offence Little Flush was suspended from racing for 28 days at Albion Park and must perform a satisfactory trial before racing next.

4 Sienna Sunrise – Entering the first turn was tightened then checked. Through the first turn was inconvenienced. Rounding the home turn was inconvenienced being marred.

5 Red Buzz – Entering the first turn was tightened then checked and then bumped with another runner. Through the first turn was checked.

6 Bright Sirius – Went up with the lids. Entering the first turn bumped with another runner. Through the first turn was checked and then fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

7 Springtime Storm – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

8 Floyd’s Fury – Through the first turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 2 – SELL YOUR CAR @ MOTORHUB MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 520m

1 Springtime Son – Through the back turn checked around heels. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

2 Smoking Jane – Through the back turn was checked. Entering the home straight bumped with another runner.

4 Cool Blonde – Through the back turn was inconvenienced. Entering the home straight bumped with another runner.

5 Born Ruby – Late Scratching on veterinary advice. TAB notified at 4:43PM

8 Living The Lie – Rounding the home turn turned its head outwards towards Cool Blonde. Entering the home straight bumped with another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an off-hind leg Achilles injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days. Stewards spoke to the trainer Brent Kline regarding the greyhound’s actions. Stewards reviewed the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer. Stewards deemed Living The Lie was in breach of GAR 69A Failing To Pursue, as this was the greyhound’s 2^nd offence the greyhound would be stood down from racing at all tracks for 3 months and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next.

Race 3 – SMARTMONEYPUNTING.COM NOVICE 520m

2 Crimson Camellia – Entering the first turn checked around heels then raced wide.

3 Wild Eyes – Shortly after the start was checked.

6 Bogie Millie – Through the first turn was checked.

8 Luna Flame – Entering the first turn was checked. Through the first turn was checked.

There were no racing incidents to report.

Race 5 - GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND R4/5 600m

2 Perfect Freeze – Entering the home straight on the first occasion bumped with another runner.

3 Eamon Mac - Entering the first turn was checked. Entering the back straight was checked.

6 Jilliby Caz - Entering the first turn was checked. Entering the back straight was checked.

7 Hearts Colliding - Entering the first turn was checked. Entering the home straight on the first occasion bumped with another runner.

8 It's A Cruise – Entering the first turn was inconvenienced.

Race 6 - ORSON ALLEN @ METICULOUS LODGE 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 520m

Race 8 - STINGER NOIR @ SIRES ON ICE 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 520m

1 Samona – Through the first checked around heels.

2 Savannah Bronze – Approaching the winning post on the first occasion was tightened.

3 Thursday Shiraz – Approaching the first turn was checked.

5 Street Smart – Approaching the first turn was tightened then checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have split webbing on the near side foreleg and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

6 Pinto Falabella - Approaching the first turn was tightened then checked. Rounding the home turn turned its head outwards towards She’s In clover. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed a near hind leg Achilles injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Christopher Riorden regarding the greyhound’s racing actions rounding the home turn. Stewards viewed the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report. Stewards deemed that Pinto Falabella was in breach of GAR 69B Failing to Pursue with injury and has been stood down for 7 days all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 9 - SMARTMONEYPUNTING.COM MIXED 4/5 395m

1 Sea Daddy – Through the first turn was tightened and checked. Entering the back turn was checked.

6 Ringbark Thunder – Entering the back turn contacted the running rail then shifted out. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

7 Shifting Colour – Entering the back turn was checked.

8 Turanza Tiger – Late Scratching Transport Difficulties. TAB notified at 5:02PM.
