Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE NOVICE 2 520m

5 Springtime Son – Clipped on the heels by another runner approaching the home turn.

6 Iconic – Bumped by another runner and forced to race wide rounding the first turn.

7 Me And You – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn and was severely checked losing considerable ground.

8 Federal Diamond – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked. Improved onto the heels of another runner approaching the home turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 2 - SELL YOUR CAR @ MOTORHUB MA5 2 520m

1 Federal Desire – Commenced to weaken in the back straight when appeared to have sustained an injury. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood down from racing for 28 days. The greyhound will need to complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next.

3 Blackpool Amour – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed split webbing to the near hind leg and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

6 Aston Turbine – Raced wide through the first turn.

7 Federal Estate – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and was checked losing ground.

Race 3 - STINGER NOIR @ SIRES ON ICE 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 2 520m

3 Barefoot Flynn – Bumped with another runner rounding the first turn.

6 Hearts Colliding – Tightened for racing room approaching the first turn and was checked losing ground.

7 Disaster Piece – Tightened for racing room approaching the first turn and was checked losing ground.

Race 4 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 2 520m

1 Abel Johny – Bumped several times with another runner in the home straight.

3 Subtle Space – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.

4 Wild Fernando – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the turn off the back straight.

5 Big Boy Benji – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the turn off the back straight. Bumped several times with another runner in the home straight.

6 Springtime Gold – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn and became momentarily unbalanced.

7 Willem Powerfish – Checked across the heels of another runner and was forced to race wide rounding the first turn.

8 Just Ace – Bumped by another runner and raced wide through the first turn.

Race 5 - GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND GRADE 5 1 710m

2 It's A Cruise – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked. Bumped with another runner several times rounding the turn into the front straight on the first occasion.

6 Rottnest Blues – Bumped with another runner several times rounding the turn into the front straight on the first occasion.

7 Glittering Gaby – Checked across the heels of another runner rounding the turn off the back straight.

Race 6 - ORSON ALLEN @ METICULOUS LODGE 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 2 520m

2 Rumbling Away – Bumped by another runner and raced wide rounding the first turn.

3 Cockney Pride – Tightened for racing room approaching the first turn and was checked losing ground. Bumped several times with another runner rounding the turn into the back straight.

8 Kechi – Bumped by another runner rounding the first turn. Bumped several times with another runner rounding the turn into the back straight.

Race 7 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 2 520m

2 Keyed Alike – Bumped with another runner leaving the turn into the back straight.

4 Tiger Holly – Bumped with another runner leaving the turn into the back straight.

Race 8 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE FFA 2 520m

1 Xella Angel – Bumped heavily with another runner at the top of the home straight.

2 Glittering Zac – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

3 Truthiness – Bumped heavily with another runner at the top of the home straight.

5 Cha Cha Charlie – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and became momentarily unbalanced.

8 Oodles Of Noodle – Late scratching at 9:05 pm due to an offside wrist injury after the greyhound underwent a pre-race veterinary examination at trainer Darryl McGrath’s request.

Race 9 - TAB - LONG MAY WE PLAY MIXED 4/5 2 395m

1 Daphne Moo Moo – Late scratching at 9:21 pm due to illness after the greyhound underwent a pre-race veterinary examination.

3 Sleek Fury – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the turn off the back straight and was checked.

4 Farmor Watch Me – Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the first turn and lost ground.

7 Hear The Bells – Raced wide on the turn off the back straight.

Race 10 - SKY RACING MIXED 4/5 2 331m

1 Farmor Watch You – Dragged down from behind by another runner rounding the first turn and was severely checked losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 Paw King – Slow to begin. Tightened for racing room and improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was severely checked losing considerable ground, failing to complete the course. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the off hock and was stood down from racing for 12 weeks. Paw King must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. The greyhound was administered pain relief and bandaged by the on-course veterinarian. Trainer Mr Corey Mutton will take the greyhound to My Vet Byron Bay tomorrow for further assessment and treatment. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Injury Review Panel.
