RACE 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MA5 (1) 520M

1 Dark Bandit – Checked off heels rounding the first turn. Lost ground in the back straight and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its near side hock and was stood down for ninety (90) days. The greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. Trainer Roan Enright advised Stewards that he will take the greyhound to the Greenbank Veterinary Hospital for further assessment and treatment. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Racing Injury Review Panel.

4 Sunburst – Dragged down, severely checked and fell rounding the turn out of the front straight and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

7 Peltzer – Severely checked and fell rounding the turn out of the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its near side hip and was stood down from racing for seven (7) days.
