RACE 1 - GARRARD'S GOLD CUP (G3) HEAT 1 OPEN 710M

1 Queen Redeem – Collided with another runner and was checked leaving the front straight.

3 Eye Catching – Checked rounding the first turn.

4 Double Bluff – Checked approaching the first turn.

5 Line Of Quality – Slow to begin. Bumped leaving the front straight.

6 Oxley Surround – Collided with another runner leaving the front straight.

7 Mere Magic – Checked leaving the front straight.

8 Rottnest Blues – Checked leaving the front straight.

RACE 2 - GARRARD'S GOLD CUP (G3) HEAT 2 OPEN 710M

1 Glittering Gaby – Appeared to suffer an injury shortly after the start and lost ground taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its stomach muscle and was stood down for twenty-one (21) days. 

2 Zipping Ontario – Slow to begin.

RACE 3 - GARRARD'S GOLD CUP (G3) HEAT 3 OPEN 710M

2 Brockie Magic – Checked leaving the front straight. Checked rounding the home turn.

3 We The People – Slow to begin.

4 Waltzing Mickey – Began to give ground rounding the home turn before faltering and losing its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its off side hock and was stood down for ninety (90) days. The greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. Trainer Jamie Hosking advised Stewards that he will take the greyhound to the Laidley Veterinary Surgery for further assessment and treatment. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Racing Injury Review Panel.

6 Barsandi – Fell after the finish line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its near side fibula and was stood down for seven (7) days. 

7 Days Of Thunder – Checked leaving the front straight.

8 Zipping Virginia – Slow to begin.

3 Ninetymile King – Checked rounding the first turn. Checked racing through the catching pen.

5 Cha Cha Charlie – Checked rounding the first turn. Checked racing through the catching pen.

6 Farmor Beach – Slow to begin. Checked rounding the first turn.

7 Call Me Rip – Checked rounding the first turn. Crossed down to the rail making heavy contact with the rail and was severely checked leaving the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained a laceration to its near side hip and was stood down for seven (7) days. 

8 Security Code – Slow to begin. Checked leaving the back straight.

1 High Torque – Bumped entering the home straight.
