Stewards spoke to trainer Ken Hawkins regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. After viewing the video footage and considered submissions from the trainer. Stewards deemed the greyhound had turned its head outwards making contact with another runner. Therefore, Steward’s invoked GAR 69(1) marring 1st offence - 28 day stand down at Albion Park and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

Stewards spoke to trainer Stephen Neary regarding the greyhound’s box manners, after considering submissions from the trainer, stewards invoked GAR 71 unsatisfactory performance. Mr Neary was advised the greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. |
