Race 1 - TAB - LONG MAY WE PLAY NOVICE 520m

1 Armstrong – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Checked entering the back straight.

2 Repeat Dose – Collided with another runner in the front straight.

3 Farmor Cochise – Collided with another runner in the front straight. Checked on the home turn. Bumped in the home straight.

7 Hoover – Checked through the first turn. Checked in the back straight.

8 Make Me Dizzy – Slow to begin. Eased approaching the first turn. Checked on the home turn. Turned its head outwards on the home turn taking its attention away from the lure. Stewards spoke to trainer R Hazelgrove regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the first turn and on the home turn. Acting under GAR124(1) Failing to pursue, Make Me Dizzy was suspended from racing for twenty-eight (28) days at Albion and must perform a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

9 Fernando's Best (4) – Checked in the front straight. Checked on the first turn. Bumped in the home straight.

5 I'm Shy Boy – Checked on the home turn. Turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with another runner in the home straight. Stewards spoke to trainer P Mcilveen regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR123 Marring, I’m Shy Boy was suspended from racing for twenty-eight (28) days at Albion and must perform a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
