RACE 1 - TAB - LONG MAY WE PLAY NOVICE 520M

1 Atomic Bill – Tightened between runners rounding the first turn.

4 Vermelo Caliente – Bumped shortly after the start.

5 Daysea's Unique – Tightened between runners and was bumped shortly after the start.

6 Celebrity Aisha – Checked rounding the first turn. Severely checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

7 Carroway – Checked rounding the first turn. Hampered rounding the turn out of the back straight.

8 Hello Len – Checked rounding the first turn.

RACE 2 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MA5 (1) 520M

2 Steal Away – Appeared to injure itself shortly after the start and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its near side back muscle and was stood down from racing for forty-two (42) days. Trainer Colin Graham advised that the greyhound would now be retired from racing.

3 Veridis Bale – Checked rounding the first turn. Inconvenienced rounding the turn into the back straight. Bumped with another runner over the concluding stages.

4 High Torque – Began awkwardly. Checked rounding the first turn. Bumped with another runner over the concluding stages.

5 My Bro Beach – Slow to begin.

6 Pre Cruise – Checked rounding the first turn.

7 Diamond Tina – A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

8 Second Solution – Checked and carried wider rounding the first turn.

RACE 7 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE GRADE 5 520M

1 Replication – Began awkwardly. Checked rounding the first turn. Checked racing through the catching pen. Turned its head outwards, taking its attention away from the lure and shifted up the track towards another runner leaving the back straight and continued to do so rounding the turn into the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Andrew Bobak regarding the greyhounds racing actions in the home straight, and, after hearing his evidence, deemed the greyhound’s conduct to constitute an offence of failing to pursue (1^st offence) pursuant to Greyhounds Australasia Rule 124 and, as such, the greyhound was suspended from racing for twenty-eight (28) days at Albion Park and must perform a satisfactory trial prior to racing again.

2 Hello Wally – Inconvenienced shortly after the start. Checked off heels rounding the first turn. Shifted in and turned its head to the inside taking its attention away from the lure and making muzzle contact with another runner over the middle stages of the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer representative Warren Elson regarding the greyhound’s racing actions in the home straight and, after hearing his evidence, deemed the greyhound’s conduct to constitute an offence of marring (1^st offence) pursuant to Greyhounds Australasia Rule 123 and, as such, Hello Wally was suspended from racing for twenty-eight (28) days at Albion Park and must perform a satisfactory trial prior to racing again.

7 Darryl's Girl – Slow to begin. Checked rounding the first turn. Checked racing through the catching pen. Checked and carried extremely wide rounding the turn out of the back straight.

4 Power Moves – Severely checked and fell rounding the first turn. Trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
