Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 331m

2 Shari's Angel – Shifted out and raced wide approaching the home turn.

6 Lorna's Creek – Slow to begin.

7 Zipping Skylark – Slow to begin.

Race 2 - TAB - VENUE MODE MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 331m

3 Smudged – Dragged down by another runner approaching the first turn and lost ground. Checked across the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

4 Burnt Me – Slow to begin.

7 Duncan Country – Bumped by another runner shortly after the start. Took several awkward strides and raced wide rounding the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Brett Hazelgrove regarding the greyhound’s performance. Duncan Country was a significant betting shortener opening at $4 into $2.25. Mr Hazelgove stated that the greyhound had trialled extremely well and was expecting Duncan Country to win at his first start based on trial times. It was observed on video footage by the trainer and Stewards that Duncan Country did encounter interference at the start and did not handle the first corner well having his first race start in a full field. Mr B Hazelgrove stated that he supported his runner in tonight’s race and expects improvement in future starts after gaining race experience. Stewards noted the explanation.

8 Fast Stunner – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN HEAT 3 MAIDEN 331m

2 Snooze You Lose – Raced wide through the home turn and throughout the remainder of the race.

4 Job Done – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

5 Samala Girl – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

8 Salah's Goal – Very slow to begin. Checked across the heels of another runner rounding the home turn.

Race 4 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD NOVICE (1) 331m

1 Spider Mccool – Slow to begin. Commenced to weaken approaching the first turn and lost considerable ground when appeared to have sustained an injury taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the off-hind back muscle and was stood down from racing for 60 days. The greyhound must trial prior to any future nomination. Trainer Mr Michael Geraghty advised Stewards that he intends to retire Spider Mccool after tonight’s race.

2 Noel's Gem – Slow to begin.

6 No Personality – Checked across the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

Race 5 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE NOVICE (2) 331m

1 Trinity Ann – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start. Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

3 Zambrock – Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the first turn. Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

4 Grovely Flyer – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn and lost ground.

Race 6 - GET IT GIZMO @ NEWHAVEN STUD 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 331m

1 Lady Zelemar – Dragged down by another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

2 Misuzulu – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked.

4 Lady Swiss – Improved onto the heels of another runner leaving the first turn and was severely checked losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 Lady Bow – Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the first turn and lost ground.

Race 7 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MIXED 3/4 331m

2 King Sure Can – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn.

4 Sunset Matilda – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the home turn.

5 Ruby's Me Mum – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn and lost ground. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the home turn.

6 Cristiano Blue – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn and lost ground.

8 Barra's Image – Slow to begin.

9 Lightning Zeal (7) – Took several awkward strides and raced wide through the first turn and throughout most of the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Keith Boan regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr K Boan stated that the greyhound was having his first race start for his kennel as well as its first race at Albion Park. Mr Boan expects Lightning Zeal to strip fitter at his next race start and is hoping for further improvement after having a run at the track. Stewards noted the explanation.

Race 8 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE BEST 8 331m

1 Flick's Buck – Dragged down by another runner rounding the first turn and lost considerable.

2 What A Crumble – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

3 Broccolini Pete – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

5 Some Idea – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start and was checked losing ground.

6 Classy Zoro – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

7 Summer's Queen – Held up for clear racing room approaching the first turn and lost forward momentum.

Race 9 - ORSON ALLEN @ METICULOUS LODGE MA5 331m

1 Kayak – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 11 - WALLOON SALOON HOTEL 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 331m

1 Deep Sapphire – Slow to begin.

2 Hay You Beast – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing considerable ground.

3 Canefield Queen – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

4 Back Seat Betty – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

5 Possibly Premium – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.

6 Master Blake – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn. Clipped on the heels by another runner approaching the home turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed a laceration to the off-front foot and was stood down from racing for 21 days.

1 Siren City – Slow to begin.

2 Brightly Hayze – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked.

3 Morning Mocha – Clipped on the heels by another runner leaving the first turn.

4 Powder Keg – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

6 Wonders Magic – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

7 Leaping Lucille – Slow to begin.

8 Mr. Barack – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.
