1 Frosty Girl – Checked rounding the first turn, checked rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hind toe injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

2 Zip Zip Hooray – Checked rounding the first turn.

3 Special Cyndie – Late scratching at 2.25pm – Weight variation.

5 Mama Said – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

6 Rosdue Rockette – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

8 Magic Miss – Slow to begin, checked rounding the home turn.

1 Stand Back – Checked entering the back straight.

2 Atomic Cyndie – Bumped with another runner on several occasions in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainers representative Warren Elson regarding the greyhound’s racing actions in the home straight. Stewards viewed the video replay and considered submissions from Mr Elson and the veterinary report. Stewards deemed that Greyhound had turned its head inwards and taken its attention away from the lure, therefore Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to Pursue 1st offence - 28 day stand down at Albion Park and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

3 Summer's Stunner – Bumped with another runner on several occasions in the home straight.

4 Rosdue Yeti – Checked entering the back straight.

5 Ultimate Boost – Severely checked and fell entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

6 Ayaya – Checked entering the home turn.

8 Crown Of Rock – Slow to begin.

Race 6 - SKY RACING NOVICE (2) 2 395m

1 Flying Phil – Checked in the back straight.

2 Lucky Dragon – Checked rounding the home turn.

Race 8 - THE SKRILLA GORILLA MEMORIAL GRADE 5 3 520m

1 Celebrity Aisha – Shifted out and collided with another runner rounding the first turn, checked entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Denise Robinson in regard to the greyhounds racing actions rounding the first turn. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt if it had contravened any rule.

Stewards also questioned Mrs Robinson regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mrs Robinson stated the greyhound didn’t begin as well as it had in previous starts and is better suited to racing further forward, she also added the greyhound prefers a wider box. Stewards noted the explanation.

6 Not Alone – Severely checked entering the back straight and took no further part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hind leg injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next.
