RACE 3 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY FFA 710M

2 Pocket Money – Checked leaving the back straight. Trainer representative David Eisel reported that the greyhound had not raced over the distance since 1 September 2022 with only had one start since and as a result would derive benefit from today’s run. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

4 Days Of Thunder – Checked off heels leaving the back straight.

6 Dundee Ember – Slow to begin.

RACE 4 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 520M

3 Cincinnati Bill – Went up with the lids and lost ground. Checked rounding the first turn.

4 Poker Alice – Bumped at the start. Checked rounding the first turn. Turned its head to the inside taking its attention away from the lure in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Peter Cauchi regarding the greyhounds racing actions in the back straight, and, after hearing his evidence, deemed the greyhound’s conduct to constitute an offence of failing to pursue pursuant to Greyhounds Australasia Rule 124. As the greyhound had one (1) previous marring offence pursuant to Greyhounds Australasia Rule 123, Stewards deemed this to be Poker Alice’s 2^nd offence pursuant to Greyhounds Australasia Rule 127 and, as such, the greyhound was suspended from racing for twenty-eight (28) days at all tracks and must perform a satisfactory trial prior to racing again.

1 Burnt Snags – Checked rounding the first turn.

2 Been Framed – Checked rounding the first turn. Checked off heels rounding the turn into the home straight. Bumped with another runner over the concluding stages.

6 Swift Rascal – Slow to begin. Checked rounding the turn into the back straight. Bumped with another runner over the concluding stages.

8 Run West – Checked off heels rounding the turn into the back straight. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight.

RACE 6 - ORSON ALLEN @ METICULOUS LODGE GRADE 5 600M

1 Dulceria – Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight when giving ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its off side pin and was stood down from racing for ten (10) days.

1 Kiss And Spin – Checked rounding the first turn. Tightened rounding the turn out of the back straight.

2 Showman Jack – Checked rounding the turn into the back straight. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

5 Dreamy Dan – Bumped with another runner in the front straight.

6 Hopeful Bella – Tightened shortly after the start. Carried wider rounding the first turn. Raced wide throughout.

7 Action Now – Bumped with another runner in the front straight.
