General: The start of race 4 was delayed due to runner 7 Misuzulu being presented late for the race by trainer Mr Greg Cannon. Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR156(f)(ii) charged Mr Cannon for negligence in not presently Misuzulu for race 4 until after the rest of the field where on their way to the boxes and after the preview had been completed, subsequently delaying the start of the race. Mr Greg Cannon was fined $100 and was advised of his right to an internal review.

Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 331m

4 Black Elegance – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

5 Duncan Country – Bumped by another runner and forced to race wide rounding the first turn.

6 Shari's Angel – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn and became momentarily unbalanced. Bumped heavily by another runner approaching the home turn and became momentarily unbalanced.

8 Impetuous Lad – Slow to begin. Shifted out and bumped heavily with another runner approaching the home turn.

Race 2 - TAB - VENUE MODE NPW 331m

1 Prince Brockie – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn and lost ground.

3 Stand Back – Very slow to begin.

4 Grovely Flyer – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn and lost ground.

8 Flying Phil – Checked across the heels of another runner at the top of the home straight.

Race 3 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB NOVICE 331m

1 Oh Minnie – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

2 Storm Rose – Very slow to begin.

3 Keep Tracking – Shifted out and raced wide rounding the home turn.

6 Stylish Rico – Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the first turn and lost ground.

8 Ultimate Boost – Held up for clear racing room rounding the first turn and lost forward momentum.

9 What A Nose (7) – Forced to race wide rounding the first turn.

Race 4 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND GRADE 5 (1) 331m

3 Applejack Fly – Raced wide through the home turn.

4 Got No Torque – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

5 Mr. Barack – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start and was checked losing ground.

7 Misuzulu – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn.

8 Family Touch – Slow to begin.

Race 5 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE GRADE 5 395m

4 Jekyll Jye – Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the turn off the back straight and lost ground.

5 Trying Times – Slow to begin. Bumped with another runner several times in the home straight.

6 They Love Me – Raced wide in the back straight. Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the turn off the back straight and lost ground.

7 Boxing On – Slow to begin. Raced wide in the back straight. Checked across the heels of another runner rounding the turn off the back straight.

8 Where's The Bar – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start. Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the first turn. Bumped with another runner several times in the home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 6 - GET IT GIZMO @ NEWHAVEN STUD MIXED 4/5 331m

1 Waikarie Abby – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

3 Carter – Tightened for racing room leaving the first turn and was checked losing ground.

4 Unlimited Blitz – Checked off the heels of another another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

7 Hot Options – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner and shifted out leaving the first turn.

Race 7 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MIXED 3/4 331m

2 Memories Keep – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start and was checked losing ground.

3 Mystical Lulu – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start and was checked losing ground.

7 Dreams Are Free – Slow to begin. Shifted out and raced wide approaching the home turn.

8 Mr. Murphy – Approaching the first turn began to weaken and lose considerable ground when appeared to have sustained an injury, taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to off-hind back muscle and was stood down from racing for 21 days.

Race 8 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE BEST 8 331m

Stewards delayed all clear to review the video footage of the race regarding the lure position in the back straight in relation to the leading greyhound. After reviewing the video footage and acting under their own observations of the race, Stewards were comfortably satisfied that the lure position had no material effect on any runner, therefore all clear was declared on the semaphored numbers.

5 Mr. Denzel – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

6 Classy Zoro – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

8 Hopeful Bill – Slow to begin.

Race 9 - ORSON ALLEN @ METICULOUS LODGE GRADE 5 (2) 331m

4 Scoots First – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

6 Leaping Lucille – Slow to begin. Raced wide through the home turn.

9 Rosdue Caesar (7) – Slow to begin.

Race 10 - NEWHAVEN STUD FARM GRADE 5 (3) 331m

2 White St. – Marginally slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.

3 Kenzo Fernando – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

5 Hendy – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

8 Noaki Nipper – Bumped by another runner and forced to race wide leaving the first turn.

9 Louie Luxe (7) – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

Race 11 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD GRADE 5 (4) 331m

Stewards delayed all clear to view the photo finish for second place. After looking at all images available both electronically and printed, Stewards confirmed the judge’s decision of a dead heat for second. Therefore, all clear was declared on the semaphored numbers of 6-4/8-1.

2 Rosdue Swagman – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.

5 Joker's Girl – Tightened for racing room leaving the first turn and was checked losing ground.

7 King Of Cakes – Went up with the lids at box rise and as a result was very slow to begin. Raced wide through the home turn.

8 Mayfair Fantasy – Slow to begin. Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost forward momentum.

Race 12 - HAPPY 100TH BLUEY MA5 331m

1 Oodles Of Noodle – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

2 Pole Inspector – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked.

5 Deb's Blue Boy – Checked across the heels of another runner approaching the home turn. Bumped with another runner in the home straight and became momentarily unbalanced.

7 Selena Girl – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

9 Veerat (3) – Slow to begin.
