A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainers representative Barry Taylor regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr Taylor stated although he was disappointed with the greyhound’s performance the greyhound did not begin as well today as its previous starts and is better suited to racing further forward. Stewards noted the explanation.
