General: Stewards open an inquiry into an incident that occurred at Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club trials conducted on the 16^th of November 2022.  After hearing submissions stewards charged licenced trainer Mr Keith Boan under GAR 156f(ii) misconduct.  The specifics of the charge that Mr Boan verbally abused Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club supervisor Cameron Keighley during the trial session.  Mr Boan was found guilty and issued a fine of $500,  $250 of which was suspended for a period of 12 months conditional of no similar breaches of this rule.  Mr Boan was advised of his right to an internal review.

Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MDNPW 2 395m

2 Daysea's Mickey Checked at the first turn and lost ground.  Shifted out and bumped another runner at the turn after the back straight.  Shifted out and bumped with another runner approaching the winning post.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 New Tricks Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

9 Lorna's Creek(3) Checked at the first turn and lost ground.  Bumped by another runner at the turn after the back straight and lost ground.  Bumped by another runner approaching the winning post and lost ground.

10 Evil Evee (4) Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

Race 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN 2 395m

2 Quick Cash Checked at the entrance of the back straight and lost ground.

4 Journalist Shifted out shortly and collided with another runner.  Shifted out turned its head outwards for a number of strides approaching the home straight.  Shortly after checked off heels and lost ground.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities. The greyhound was charged under Gar 124 failure to pursue and was stood down for 28 days at Albion Park and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to nomination.

6 Haunted Town Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

7 Kick Son Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

8 Go Hango Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

4 Leo Gibbs Checked at the turn after the back straight and lost ground.

5 Aerobic Maximum Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

6 Sandy Invigorate Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

8 On The Brae Checked at the first turn and lost ground.  Checked off heels approaching the home straight and lost ground.

1 Where's Johnson Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

2 Quick Blast Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

3 Lightning Comet Severely checked at the first turn and lost ground.

6 Queen Of Cakes Checked shortly after the start and lost ground.

7 Mystical Lulu Severely checked at the first turn and lost ground.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 5 - ORSON ALLEN @ METICULOUS LODGE MA5 2 395m

2 Gus Gus Checked approaching the home straight and lost ground.

3 Miracle Ghost Tightened for racing room at the first turn.

4 Hot Tattoo Tightened for racing room at the first turn.

1 Morning Mocha Stumbled shortly after the start and lost ground.

2 Zipping Tania Checked in the back straight and lost ground.

3 Old Money Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

4 Orson Alison Best to begin.

5 Shian Lani Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

6 Capacitor Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

7 Ultimate Boost Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

Race 7 - TAB - VENUE MODE GRADE 5 3 520m

1 Go Bears Severely checked at the end of the front straight and lost ground.

2 Sam Wilson Slow to begin

3 Akimbo Severely checked at the end of the front straight and lost ground.

5 Calder Severely checked at the end of the front straight and lost ground. Shortly after became unbalanced and fell taking no further part in the event.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the near pin muscle and was stood down for 10 days.

6 Tomahawk Hayze Severely checked at the end of the front straight and lost ground.

7 It's A Roo Severely checked at the end of the front straight and lost ground.  Shortly after became unbalanced and fell taking no further part in the event.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside shoulder muscle and was stood down for 10 days..

9(8) Rochill Amy Severely checked at the end of the front straight and lost ground.  Checked off heels approaching the home straight and lost ground.
