Race 5 - ORSON ALLEN @ METICULOUS LODGE NOVICE 2 395m

2 Game One Checked at the first turn and lost ground.  Shortly after became unbalanced and fell taking no further part in the event.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which no apparent abnormalities.

7 Singing Gunn Shifted in abruptly shortly after the start checking numerous runners.

3 Barra's Image Checked at the first turn and lost ground.  Severely checked at the entrance of the back straight became unbalanced and fell taking no further competitive part in the event.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

3 Swish Clipped from behind at the end of the front straight and lost ground.

4 Hello Warren Slow to begin.

5 Rosa's Laugh Severely checked at the first turn and lost ground.

7 Jimmy The Singer Improved on the heels of another runner at the end of the front straight and became unbalanced losing ground.

Race 9 - GET IT GIZMO @ NEWHAVEN STUD MA5 2 395m

1 Tuta Mimosa Slow to begin.  Checked at the entrance of the back straight and lost ground.

4 Dynamite Cyndie Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

6 Queen Supreme Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

8 Nightmare Moon Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

Race 10 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 2 395m

1 Shian Quirky Slow to begin.  Checked in the back straight and lost ground.

3 Baronga Breeze Checked at the end of the back straight and lost ground.

5 Polly's Paws Appeared to sustain an injury when racing in the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a near side hip injury and was stood down for 14 days.

6 Daniher Hayze Checked at the first turn and lost ground.  Checked at the end of the back straight and lost ground.

8 Alpha Humbug Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

Race 11 - RHINO FINANCE 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 2 395m

2 Dixie Kath Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

3 Shian Suzie Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

4 Mahuika Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

6 Hopeful Bella Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

9(5)  Kaypat Candy Checked at the first turn and lost ground.  Appeared to sustain an injury in the back straight and took no furthercompetitive part in the event.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the greyhound to be suffering from an off side hock fracture and was stood down for 90 days.  The greyhound must complete a successful vet trial prior to nomination.
