General: Trainers Adrian Gates and Greg Deering were reminded of their obligations regarding the Racing Queensland dress requirements.

Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN (1) 2 520m

All clear was delayed to afford Stewards the opportunity to view the films in relation to a bird on the track in the home straight, after doing so Stewards were comfortable that no greyhound was effected and all clear was given on the judges numbers.

1 Farmor Smitten – Checked in the front straight.

2 Imposing Neo - Underwent a post-race vet examination after collapsing in the catching pen. Acting under the provisions of GAR 42 Stewards invoked a 28 day stand down and the greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing again.

3 Magic Madness – Checked in the front straight.

4 Bogie Gale – Checked in the front straight.

6 Rusty Vision – Checked in the front straight, checked rounding the home turn.

7 Lingonberry – Checked entering the first turn.

8 Aerobic Bella – Checked entering the first turn, checked rounding the first turn.

Race 2 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN (2) 2 520m

1 Ninetymile Rocks – Checked entering the back straight.

3 Craig's Cruisin' – Checked approaching the first turn, checked entering the back straight.

7 Henry Delatt – Slow to begin, gave ground rounding the home turn and trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

8 Sirius Bill – Slow to begin.

1 Go Hard Son – Severely checked approaching the first turn then trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

2 Once Again – Severely checked approaching the first turn then trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside should injury the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. The incident will be referred to the injury review panel.

7 Cockney Sparrow – Checked on the first turn, checked entering the home turn.
