Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN (1) 2 520m

2 Sir Finley – Entering the home straight was severely checked.

3 Apache Vera – Shortly after the start was tightened.

4 Galway Phoenix – Slow to begin, leaving the 1^st turn checked across heels.

8 Zipping Skylark – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainers representative Lucy Roche, the owner/handler of Zipping Skylark regarding its poor performance beaten 29.25 lengths in tonight’s event. Ms Roche was disappointed in the greyhounds’ efforts and stated it was the greyhounds first start over the 520m distance and it was building its fitness to be able to run out the 520m as had been racing over shorter distances. Stewards noted the comments; however, a warning was placed against the greyhound for its poor performance.

Race 2 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN (2) 2 520m

1 Lorna's Creek – Near the finish was checked.

2 Whacker Wilson – Slow to begin, through the back turn commenced to weaken. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

4 Titan Rhea – Near the finish shifted in colliding with another runner.

8 Blazin' Number – Slow to begin.

Race 3 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY NOVICE 2 520m

2 Bang Bang Bang – Leaving the 1^st turn was checked.

4 Keep Tracking – Approaching the 1^st turn was tightened and checked. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to its tail and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

5 Kick Son – Slow to begin.

6 Yumar – Approaching the 1^st turn was tightened and checked, through the 1^st turn was checked.

7 Big Nose Ted – Approaching the 1^st turn was tightened and checked, through the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

8 Blue Moonshine – Leaving the 1^st turn was checked.

Race 4 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE 1-5 WINS 2 600m

2 Antonio's Pride – Into the 1^st turn was tightened.

4 Springtime Rose – Entering the back straight was checked.

6 Stolen Jade – Raced wide for the entire event.

Race 5 - ORSON ALLEN @ METICULOUS LODGE NMW (1) 2 520m

1 First Slip – Through the back turn was tightened.

3 Canya Bellatrix – Shortly after the start was tightened.

4 Bernie Boom – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 Dam Slipperier – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

6 Sonic Wheels – Approaching the back turn was tightened.

Race 6 - NEWHAVEN STUD FARM GRADE 5 2 520m

1 Cluster – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

2 Fancy A Scotch – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

3 Refulgent – Shortly after the start was tightened, into the 1^st turn was checked.

5 Sublime Power – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

6 Side Kick – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

Race 7 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 5 2 600m

1 I'm A Psycho – Into the 1^st turn was tightened and checked, through the back turn eased taking its attention away the lure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer S McGuiness regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr McGuiness, stewards deemed Buckeye Bullet had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Buckeye Bullet was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial.

2 Buckeye Bullet – Into the 1^st turn was tightened and checked, approaching the back turn shifted out marring the runner to its outside. Stewards spoke to trainer W Spann regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and Mr Spann’s acknowledgment for his greyhound’s actions, stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Buckeye Bullet was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

4 Run West – Into the 1^st turn was checked, into the back turn was severely checked

5 Tiki Bar – Into the 1^st turn was checked, into the back turn was severely checked.

6 Jax Bale – Approaching the back turn was severely inconvenienced, into the back turn was severely checked.

7 Springtime Son – Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

Race 8 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MIXED 3/4 2 520m

1 Street Smart – Approaching the back turn appeared injured and commenced to weaken. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to its offside wrist and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

2 Bust A Move – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

7 Major Blip – Slow to begin.

8 Laughing Les – Entering the back straight checked across heels.

Race 9 - KEDRON WAVELL SERVICES CLUB MA5 2 520m

4 Faster Than Hoot – Shortly after the start was tightened.

6 Bimini Twist – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

7 Sleek Fury – Through the 1^st turn looked awkward in its action and commenced to weaken. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside back muscle and was stood down from racing for 28 days. Trainer B Baker was advised the greyhound must complete a steward’s trial after the stand down period has expired, prior to racing next. Trainer B Baker advised stewards he would more than likely retire greyhound.

1 Suzie Knows – Leaving the 1^st turn was severely checked. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

2 Cyclone Molly – Approaching the 1^st turn was tightened, leaving the 1^st turn was severely checked.

3 Getaway Gherkin – Through the 1^st turn was checked, leaving the 1^st turn was checked.

4 Miracles Mate – Into the 1^st turn was checked, leaving the 1^st turn was checked.

5 Whiskey Deluxe – Slow to begin.

Race 11 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB GRADE 5 3 395m

2 Poker Alice – Through the 1^st turn was checked.

3 Hay You Beast – Through the 1^st turn was checked, into the back turn checked across heels.
