1 She's Precocious – Dragged down and was checked rounding the first turn.

5 Courageous Carol – Slow to begin. Checked rounding the first turn.

7 Pebble's Girl – Lost ground shortly after the start and trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its stomach muscle and was stood down from racing for fourteen (14) days.

2 Henryk Bale – Checked rounding the turn into the back straight.

4 Sholto – Slow to begin. Checked rounding the turn into the back straight. Checked approaching the turn into the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

5 Blue Jeans Talk – Turned its head to the outside taking its attention away from the lure rounding the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its off side wrist and was stood down from racing for ten (10) days. Stewards questioned trainer representative Michael Boody regarding the greyhounds racing actions rounding the turn out of the back straight, and, after hearing his evidence, deemed the greyhound’s conduct to constitute an offence of failing to pursue with injury pursuant to Greyhounds Australasia Rule 125 and the greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing again.

7 Miss Priddle – Carried wider rounding the turn out of the back straight.

6 Pocket Money – Bumped shortly after the start. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer Ned Snow reported that the greyhound, in his opinion, may have felt the effects of recent racing and the warm weather conditions and will now be spelled.
