1 Little Critter – In the home straight was bumped on several occasions |
|
2 Blue Hornet – Slow to begin, leaving the home straight on the 1st occasion checked across heels. |
|
4 Sunburst – Over the concluding stages bumped with another runner then looked inwards at the greyhound to its inside also momentarily easing at that point. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to its offside hip and 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer J Cutlack regarding the actions in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Sunburst must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted. |
