2 Mint Rapper – Late scratching at 2:12pm due to the greyhound not being presented GAR 86(1). As this was Trainer Mr R Hazelgrove’s third breach of this rule inside a seven-week period a $300 fine was imposed, and a 10 day stand down period for the greyhound.

6 Black Elegance – Through the back turn was inconvenienced.

7 Zulu Joy – Slow to begin, took the back turn awkwardly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside hip and was stood down from racing for 7 days.
