2 Champagne Ivy A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Laurence Topping regarding the racing manners of Champagne Ivy in the home straight. After considering all the available evidence stewards gave Champagne Ivy the benefit of the doubt.

4 Spot On Lads Checked rounding the first turn. Improved upon the heels of another runner rounding the turn into the home straight.

5 Glorious Gunn Checked rounding the first turn.

Race 7 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MIXED 4/5 520m

1 King Capers Shifted out passing the home straight. Turned its head to the outside, away from the lure over the final stages of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to B Hazelgrove, the trainer of King Capers regarding the greyhound’s racing  manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124(1) failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  King Capers was found in breach and suspended for 28 days at Albion Park and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

6 Thumbs Up Checked off heels and stumbled, leaving the turn into the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

5 Lads On Fire Bumped and shifted out rounding the turn into the home straight.
