General:

The closing time of kennelling was altered in accordance with GAR 86(2), due to the late arrival of trainer Mr Greg Paull. Stewards considered submissions offered by Mr Paul and issued an official reprimand under GAR 86(3)(b).

5 Imposing Ripley- Checked entering first turn.

6 Whiskey Miss- Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities. The trainer Mr Craig Mcphee advised Stewards that the greyhound had not trialled here and performed below his expectations.

7 Ebony Bar Cool- Checked entering first turn.

Race 2 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE NOVICE 2 520m

1 Sir Finley- Checked entering the first turn.

2 High Performer- Had its heels contacted through the first turn.

5 Eli's Mate- Checked in the first turn.

7 Go Whistle Dixie- Checked off heels in turn into the home straight.

8 Who's Billy- Checked entering the first turn.

9 (4) Honey Bar Cool- Checked entering the first turn.

4 Slap Happy Chap- Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities.

1 Gin Shelf- Checked in first turn.

2 Spot On Polly- Checked approaching the first turn.

4 Out Of Aussie- Checked entering the turn out of the back straight on the second occasion.

5 Emerald Eyes- Checked in first turn. Checked entering the turn out of the front straight on the first occasion.

No significant racing incidents.

6 Ruby’s Angel- Struck the front of the box before rise. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed minor abrasions to the greyhound’s head. No stand down period was imposed.

4 Hostile Assassin- Checked entering first turn. Checked entering back straight.

5 Motivational- Checked entering first turn.

7 Mclintock- Checked entering the turn out of the back straight.

3 Lucky Garcia- Checked approaching the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities.

Connections advised Stewards that they will consider reducing the greyhound racing distance in future starts and consider alternative racing venues.
