4 Canya Hammer – Was slow to begin.

5 Bonnie Cairn Do - Along the home straight on the final occasion was checked.

8 Blazin' Number - Was slow to begin. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside foreleg toe injury and was stood down from racing for 5 days.

Race 2 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE NOVICE 2 520m

1 Comical Hope – Along the home straight on the final occasion checked around heels.

3 Thanks Mark – Was marginally slow to begin. Shortly after the start was checked.

4 Hara's Trixie - Was marginally slow to begin. Shortly after the start was checked. Entering the first turn was checked.

5 Ripsaw Ruby – Entering the first turn was checked.

Race 3 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY NMW (1) 2 520m

1 Kiwi Bliss – Entering the back turn was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside wrist injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

6 Boom Boom Harley – Was slow to begin.

7 Black Wood – Along the home straight on the final occasion gave ground. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards noted the comments of trainer Alby Kennewell. Mr Kennewell stated it was the greyhounds first start over this distance and plans to continue at the same distance in hopes that it will result in a stronger finish in future events. Stewards noted this explanation and will monitor the greyhound moving forward.

10 Go Seek Kotoni (7) – Approaching the winning post on the final occasion turned its head outwards towards the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an off-fore sesamoid sprain and was stood down from racing for 7 days. Stewards charged the greyhound under GAR125 first offence for failing to pursue by reason of injury 7 days all tracks and will need to complete a satisfactory trial before nominating for any future event.
