2 Two Spot Malt- Checked in first turn.

3 Miss Interogator- Checked in first turn.

6 Atomic Travis- Checked in first turn. Shifted out in the home straight contacting another runner. Stewards spoke to trainer D Pearce regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the Steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Atomic Travis did make muzzle contact with the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Atomic Travis was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 5 - ORSON ALLEN @ METICULOUS LODGE 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 2 395m

4 Slap Happy Chap- Severely checked racing through the turn into the home straight causing the greyhound to fall and take no further competitive part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the nearside wrist and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

5 Diesel Flyer- Faltered immediately after box rise and took no further part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside stifle and was stood down from racing for 90 days. Stewards ordered that Diesel Flyer must complete a satisfactory trial before returning to racing

6 Noisy Capers- Severely checked racing through the turn into the home straight causing the greyhound to fall and take no further part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the near fore radius and ulnar. Noisy Capers was stood down from racing for 90 days. Stewards ordered that Noisy Capers must complete a satisfactory trial before returning to racing.

Race 6 - SKY RACING GRADE 4 2 395m

1 Barra's Image- Checked in first turn. Checked approaching the turn out of the back straight and commenced to weaken, trailing the field for remainder of event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside hock and was stood down from racing for 28 days. Stewards ordered that Barra’s Image must complete a satisfactory trial before returning to racing.

5 Blue Moonshine- Checked first turn.

6 Miracles Mate- Checked in first turn.

7 Hidden Gold- Checked in first turn.

8 Hello Bill- Beaten favourite ($1.35). Slow to begin. Checked in first turn. Checked entering the home straight forced wide.

Prior to the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

1 Nikanova- Tightened for room approaching the first turn and contacted the running rail. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any significant findings.

4 Springtime Storm- Checked entering the back straight.
