General: The start of race 6 was delayed by 4 minutes, after it was discovered by the trainer of Hidden Agenda (Tony Short) that he had accidently left the collar on the greyhound after placing it in the starting boxes. All greyhounds were removed from the starting boxes undergoing veterinary examinations. All greyhounds were passed fit to race. |

1 Golden Eye – Slow to begin. |

4 Mr. Rubble – In the back straight improved onto heels. |

4 Sirius Sandy – Approaching the 1st turn was inconvenienced, over the final stages shifted in making head contact with the runner to its inside. Stewards spoke to trainer Darren Johnstone regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Sirius Sandy did make head contact with the greyhound to its inside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 3rd offence under this rule Sirius Sandy was suspended from racing at all tracks for 3 months and until the successful completion of 2 satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

3 Zipping Demi – Approaching the 1st turn shifted out colliding with another runner. A post-race examination revealed an injury to its nearside pin and was stood down from racing for 21 days. |

|
1 Van Helsing – Approaching the 1st turn tightened and checked making contact with the running rail, leaving the 1st turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. |

5 Cyndie's Cyndie – Through the 1st turn put in an awkward stride appearing injured. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hock and was stood down from racing for 14 days. |

6 Queenslander – Slow to begin, into the 1st turn was inconvenienced, through the back turn improved onto heels. |

7 Excessive - Into the 1st turn was inconvenienced. |

1 Atomic Bill – Through the back turn was galloped on appearing injured as a result, in the home straight was bumped heavily by another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside wrist and was stood down from racing for 21 days. |

3 Balmy Nights – Approaching the 1st turn was inconvenienced. In the home straight shifted out colliding heavily with another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities |

5 Hidden Agenda – Trainer Tony Short was fined $200 GAR 156(f)(ii) for boxing the greyhound Hidden Agenda with its collar on. |

8 Ebby Tock – Commenced to weaken mid race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside pin and was stood down from racing for 10 days. |

5 Panama Canal – Shortly after the start was inconvenienced, over the concluding stages severely weakened. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards questioned trainer T Brett regarding tonight’s below market expectation. Mr Brett stated it was the greyhound’s second start over the 520m distance in 6 months and would benefit from the run. He further added he expected the greyhound to lead tonight’s event however after being inconvenienced at the start it severely hindered its performance. Stewards noted the Mr Brett’s explanation. |
