General: The start of race 6 was delayed by 4 minutes, after it was discovered by the trainer of Hidden Agenda (Tony Short) that he had accidently left the collar on the greyhound after placing it in the starting boxes. All greyhounds were removed from the starting boxes undergoing veterinary examinations. All greyhounds were passed fit to race.

Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE (1) 520m

1 Golden Eye – Slow to begin.

4 Mr. Rubble – In the back straight improved onto heels.

Race 2 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE NOVICE (2) 520m

4 Sirius Sandy – Approaching the 1^st turn was inconvenienced, over the final stages shifted in making head contact with the runner to its inside. Stewards spoke to trainer Darren Johnstone regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Sirius Sandy did make head contact with the greyhound to its inside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 3rd offence under this rule Sirius Sandy was suspended from racing at all tracks for 3 months and until the successful completion of 2 satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

5 Logan Alpha – Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

7 Out To Sea – Rounding the home turn was checked.

8 Tagovailoa – Into the back turn was checked.

Race 3 - JACK GLASS MEMORIAL GRADE 5 (1) 520m

3 Zipping Demi – Approaching the 1^st turn shifted out colliding with another runner. A post-race examination revealed an injury to its nearside pin and was stood down from racing for 21 days.

6 Speedy Paws – Approaching the 1^st turn was checked.

Race 4 - BRISGREYS.COM GRADE 5 (2) 520m

1 Van Helsing – Approaching the 1^st turn tightened and checked making contact with the running rail, leaving the 1^st turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 Cyndie's Cyndie – Through the 1^st turn put in an awkward stride appearing injured. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hock and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

6 Queenslander – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced, through the back turn improved onto heels.

7 Excessive - Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

Race 5 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 4 520m

1 Atomic Bill – Through the back turn was galloped on appearing injured as a result, in the home straight was bumped heavily by another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside wrist and was stood down from racing for 21 days.

3 Balmy Nights – Approaching the 1^st turn was inconvenienced. In the home straight shifted out colliding heavily with another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities

4 Just A Sort – Through the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

5 Magistrate – Approaching the 1^st turn was checked.

6 Action Now – In the home straight collided with another runner.

Race 6 - TAB - VENUE MODE FFA 710m

1 Days Of Thunder – In the home straight shifted in making contact with the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 Hidden Agenda – Trainer Tony Short was fined $200 GAR 156(f)(ii) for boxing the greyhound Hidden Agenda with its collar on.

8 Ebby Tock – Commenced to weaken mid race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside pin and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 7 - GET IT GIZMO @ NEWHAVEN STUD FFA 600m

2 Blue Hornet – Slow to begin.

4 Lily Monelli – Into the turn off the home straight was checked.

Race 8 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 600m

3 Bogie Hurricane – Slow to begin.

5 Declan Monelli – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

7 Springtime Gold – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

Race 9 - ORSON ALLEN @ METICULOUS LODGE MIXED 2/3 520m

2 Springtime Jet – Into the 1^st turn was checked, rounding the home turn checked.

6 Big Town Hero – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

7 All Natural – Into the back turn was checked.

8 Rolling Empire – Rounding the home turn was checked.

4 Rubys And Pearls – Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

7 Hot Tyson – Through the back turn commenced to weaken. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hip and was stood down from racing for 10 days

8 Lucky Bundy – Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

9 Rebel Blaster (5) – Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

Race 12 -SKY RACING MA5 520m

3 Hara's Betty – Shortly after the start was tightened.

4 Pike – Shortly after the start was tightened.

5 Panama Canal – Shortly after the start was inconvenienced, over the concluding stages severely weakened. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards questioned trainer T Brett regarding tonight’s below market expectation. Mr Brett stated it was the greyhound’s second start over the 520m distance in 6 months and would benefit from the run. He further added he expected the greyhound to lead tonight’s event however after being inconvenienced at the start it severely hindered its performance. Stewards noted the Mr Brett’s explanation.

9 Zipping Lennox (2) – Shortly after the start was tightened.
