General:

Stewards inquired into an incident that occurred during the boxing of Zac The Black. After considering the submissions made by licensed trainer George Kadniak and the handler Jordon Henzell, Stewards issued reprimands to both licensees under GAR156(f)(ii).

1 Cha Cha Kitty- (Beaten Favourite) Stewards spoke with Mr Noel Murdoch the trainer of Cha Cha Kitty as some noticeable betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards.

4 Rab Ruadh Mary- Checked entering the first turn.

5 Stone Cold Rosy- Checked entering the first turn. Checked rounding the turn into the home straight.

6 Hard Style Tiger- Checked entering the first turn. Checked rounding the turn into the home straight.

7 Woogaroo Lazer- Checked entering the first turn.

6 Kia Kaha- (Beaten favourite) Checked approaching the first turn. Checked rounding the turn into the home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any significant findings.

8 See It Rock- Fell approaching the catching pen. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any significant findings.

1 Munxar Queen- Checked in first turn.

3 Sent From Heaven- Checked entering the first turn. Checked in home straight.

4 Zambrock- Checked entering the first turn.

5 Monaco Sun- Faltered immediately after the start.

6 Snooze You Lose- Checked approaching the first turn and commenced to weaken. Checked in home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the off side pin muscle and was stood down from racing for 21 days.

Race 4 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND GRADE 5 (1) 3 331m

2 Blue Zeal- Checked in first turn.

3 Who's Cyndie- Late scratching at 3.50pm due to weight variation (GAR 101(1). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, C Elson was fined $100 acting under GAR 101(3)(b)

7 Vienna On Call- Checked in first turn.

1 Aussie Cha Cha- Contacted the running rail entering the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any significant findings.

3 Sneaky Jim- Checked shortly after the start. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an abrasion to the offside front foot and was stood down from racing for 3 days.

6 Bella Lou- Checked in home straight.

Race 11 - RHINO FINANCE 5PW 3 331m

1 Nomad Road- Carried wide through the turn into the home straight.

2 Zac The Black- Checked in the back straight. Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 106(2)(a).
