Bye Bye Billy – Turned its head outwards in the home straight making muzzle contact with the greyhound to its outside. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an offside carpus sprain. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Peter Wilson regarding the greyhound’s actions in the home straight, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Wilson, stewards deemed Bye Bye Billy had made muzzle contact therefore invoked GAR 123 Marry by a greyhound. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Bye Bye Billy was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial |

Ebby Tock – Turned it head outwards in the first turn. Leaving the front straight turned its head outwards making muzzle contact with the greyhounds to its outside. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Andrew Webb regarding the greyhound’s actions, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Webb, stewards deemed Ebby Tock had made muzzle contact therefore invoked GAR 123 Marry by a greyhound. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Ebby Tock was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial |
