General: Trainer Robert Ayres entered a plea of guilty and was fined the sum of $200.00 in respect of a charge issued pursuant to Greyhounds Australasia Rule 156(f)(ii) for not removing the collar from the greyhound Lucky Lance when directed to do so at the beginning of race 8, which conduct, in the opinion of the Stewards, is negligent. |

Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE (1) 520m |

1 Hotel Whisky One – Beaten favourite, marred by another runner on the home turn and entering the home straight.
3 Cosmic Space – Turned its head outward making contact with another runner on two occasions on the home turn and entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside pin injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Tammy Hancock regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring 1st offence – 28 days stand down at Albion Park and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
6 Out To Sea – Made contact with the rail on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

7 Over Thinking – Preformed below market expectations. Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainer Reg Gardoll stated that the dog which was having its first start at Albion Park may have not been suited to the track and may have been overwhelmed with travelling at this stage in its career.
