Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 2 520m

1. Bonnie Cairn Do – Near the finish visible eased, A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr D Campbell regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Campbell, stewards in agreeance with Mr Campbell’s evidence both deemed Bonnie Can Do did eased considerably near the finish therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Bonnie Can Do was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s track

Race 2 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 2 520m

4. Rapid Impact – Shortly after the start made muzzle contact with a runner to its inside, rounding the home turn marred another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr C Mutton regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at both stages of the event in question. After reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Rapid Impact did make head contact with the greyhound to its inside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Rapid Impact was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 3 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY NOVICE 2 520m

3. Hawk’s Responder – Into the 1^st turn was severely checked almost falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hock and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

Race 4 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 2 520m

1. Lock It In – Into the back turn commenced to weaken. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside hind leg and was stood down from racing for 5 days.

2. Blue Haze – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside hind toe and was stood down from racing for 5 days.

Race 5 - ORSON ALLEN @ METICULOUS LODGE 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 2 520m

1. Game One – Into the 1^st turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

8. Obliging Travis – Near the finish shifted in making head and muzzle contact with the runner to its inside. Stewards spoke to trainer’s representative Mr D Pearce regarding the greyhound’s racing actions at a point nearing the finish. After reviewing the video replay and the Mr Peace’s submissions, stewards deemed that Obliging Travis did make head contact with the greyhound to its inside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Obliging Travis was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
