Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MDNPW 331m

7. Sad Man’s Tongue – Rounding the home turn turned its head outwards taking its attention away from the lure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside wrist and was stood down from racing for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr K Kemp regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Kemp, stewards in deemed Sad Man’s Tongue had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial once the injury stand down period has expired.

3. Kasey’s Cash – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside hock and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

5. Long And Lean – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside wrist and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

Race 6 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE MIXED 4/5 331m

3. Slap Happy Chap – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside pin and nearside wrist, as a result was stood down from racing for 14 days.

7. Barty Haze – Checked shortly after the start, checked into the back turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside pin and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

6. Fernando Alessia – Approaching the back turn shifted in making contact with the running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside pin and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

Race 10 - RHINO FINANCE GRADE 5 (2) 331m

5. Farmor Decisive – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race.

Race 11 - GET IT GIZMO @ NEWHAVEN STUD GRADE 5 (3) 331m

Race 12 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (4) 331m

1. Illegal One – Entering the back straight looked awkward in its action appearing injured. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hip support and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

7. Pale Rider – Shortly after the start was tightened and severely checked, falling as result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside wrist and was stood down from racing for 7 days.
