4. Pocket Say Itch – Into the back turn was galloped on, in the home straight was galloped on and severely checked as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside hip and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

1. She’s In Clover – Approaching the turn out of the home straight on the 1st occasion commenced to weaken. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its back and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

4. King Of Aces – Stewards questioned trainer Colin Graham into tonight’s improved performance. Mr Graham stated the greyhound had a very slight niggle in its wrist going into its last starts winning performance. He added the greyhound benefited from being down in weight .5kg along with having the ability to lead which the greyhound had not been able to do in its previous starts. Stewards noted Mr Graham’s comments. |

1. Times Three - Approaching the 1st was checked, caught wide in the middle stages, near the finish was marred by another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury. |
|
|
|
4. Buckeye Bullet – Near the finish shifted out abruptly making head and muzzle contact with the runner to its outside. Stewards spoke to trainer Wayne Spann regarding the greyhound’s racing manners over the concluding stages of the event. After reviewing the video replay and hearing the trainer’s submissions, it was deemed that Buckeye Bullet did make head contact with the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 2nd offence under this rule Buckeye Bullet was suspended from racing at all tracks for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
