6 Maywyn’s Idol – Checked on the first turn. Eased entering the home straight and approaching the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside pin injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days. Steward’s spoke to trainers representative Anita Watts regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to purse by reason of injury, 7 days stand down and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next.
