General: Trainer Ricky Hassall pleaded guilty to a charge under the provisions of GAR 156 (f)(ii) negligence, in that he momentarily left greyhound Elegantly Wasted unattended in the car with a cup of coffee which the greyhound suspectedly consumed and was subsequently scratched from race 3. Mr Hassall was fine the sum of $250.00.

1 Along The Way - Late scratching at 5.45pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have a laceration to the offside ear during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

3 Last Deposit – Made contact with the rail approaching the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

5 Butterfly Bloom – Stumbled leaving the boxes. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

6 Traperzoid Girl – Severely checked on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

8 Menari – Severely checked on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

2 Busted Axel - Late scratching at 5.45pm due to a weight variation pursuant to GAR 101(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Trainer Ned Snow was fined $100.00 pursuant to GAR 101(3)(b).

10 Flying Star – Began awkwardly, checked on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

2 Seek And Strike – Severely checked on the home turn. A post-race urine sample was obtained.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

Race 11 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB GRADE 5 (1) 3 331m

5 Orson Utzon – Checked in the back straight then gave ground and trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.
