Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 2 395m

Race 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY NOVICE 2 395m

3 Ambivalent – Severely checked and fell entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 3 - DAVE BRETT MEMORIAL (L) HEAT 1 NOV/M 1 520m

1 Stepney Green – Turned its head outwards towards another runner rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer J Mccarthy regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Mccarthy, stewards deemed Stephney Green had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Stephney Green was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial.

6 Hara’s Bruno – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 6 - DAVE BRETT MEMORIAL (L) HEAT 4 NOV/M 1 520m

3 Last Chance – Severely checked and fell entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near side radius fracture. Subsequently the greyhound will be stood down for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to returning to racing.

6 Jumping Jive – Severely checked and fell entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to head and was subsequently stood down for 14 days.
