Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 520m

5. Bye Bye Swiper – Into the 1^st turn was checked, entering the back straight marred another runner for a considerable distance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainers representative B Dargusch regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Bye Bye Swiper did make head contact with the greyhound to its outside on several occasions, therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Bye Bye Swiper was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

6. Pursuer – Through the 1^st turn was checked, a short distance later was marred for a considerable distance failing the finish as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

9. Party Mode - In the home straight marred the runner to its inside. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer C Gardoll regarding the greyhound’s racing manners over the concluding stages, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Party Mode did make head contact with the greyhound to its inside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Party Mode was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY FFA 600m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 3 - NEWHAVEN STUD FARM GRADE 5 (1) 520m

5. Lightning Rod – Into the back turn, shifted out taking its attention away from the lure also easing as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer N Falls regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Falls, stewards deemed Lightning Rod had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Lighting Rod was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial.

Race 4 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MIXED 4/5 520m

6. Swish – Into the 1^st turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 5 - DAVE BRETT MEMORIAL (L) FINAL NOV/M 520m

4. Inconspicuous – Into the 1^st turn was severely checked falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 6 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (2) 520m

5. Inevitable – Slow to begin, checked into the 1^st turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. When asked to comment on tonight’s performance, Trainer S Zammit was of the view the greyhound was very disappointing and stated the greyhound usually leads but after being slow to begin it proved very detrimental in the way the greyhound raced tonight. Ms Zammit further added she did support the greyhound.

Race 7 - TAB 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 600m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 8 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 600m

5. Hello Cyndie – Entering the home straight was tightened making contact with the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside shoulder and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

Race 9 - ORSON ALLEN @ METICULOUS LODGE BEST 8 520m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 10 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE GRADE 5 (3) 520m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 11 - BRISGREYS.COM MA5 (1) 520m

3. Springtime Storm – Into the back turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 12 - GET IT GIZMO @ NEWHAVEN STUD MA5 (2) 520m

5. Building Success – Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hock and was stood down from racing for 10 days.
