Race 3 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY NOVICE 2 520m

2 Electric Cha Cha – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent

 abnormalities.

3 Cyndie’s Bill – Turned its head inwards towards another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainers representative D Pearce regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Pearce, stewards deemed Cyndie’s Bill had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 2nd offence under this rule Cyndie’s Bill was suspended from racing at all tracks for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial.

6 Just Like Honey – Turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with another runner rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off side wrist and was subsequently stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainer P Carlton regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Just Like Honey did make head contact with the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 2nd offence under this rule Just Like Honey was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 4 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE MIXED 4/5 2 600m

Race 5 - NEWHAVEN STUD FARM GRADE 5 1 710m

3 Hello Warren – Commenced to give ground approaching the first turn. Tailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the stomach muscles and was subsequently stood down from racing for 21 days.

2 San Marco – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near fore foot and was subsequently stood down for 14 days.

5 Charlie’s Flyer – Declared a late scratching @ 9:23pm acting on veterinary advice.
