2 Nope Rope - Late scratching at 1.25pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have an offside hind leg injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.
8 Jeckle – Shifted out and taking another runner wide rounding the home turn then gave ground in the home straight and trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside shoulder injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainers representative Richard Coleman regarding the greyhound racing action on the home turn. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt if it had contravened any rule.
