Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN (1) 331m

8 Along The Way – Through the back straight commenced to ease. Failed to finish the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injuries. Steward’s spoke to trainer’s representative J Charlton regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue (1st offence). Along The Way was stood down from racing for 28 days at Albion Park and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 331m

4 Aidan’s Queen – Beaten favourite. Unable to cross through the back straight. Checked entering the first turn.

Race 4 - PHOTO MAN NOW AT STUD NOVICE 331m

Race 5 - ORSON ALLEN @ METICULOUS LODGE GRADE 5 (1) 331m

1 Scrub’s Rocket – Checked entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injuries.

10 Hipwood Hayze – Checked in the back straight. Checked entering the first turn and ran wide. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside wrist. Hipwood Hayze was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days.

6 Money Man Tszyu - Stewards spoke to trainer M Westwood in relation to the boxing of her greyhound Money Man Tszyu. Acting under provisions of GAR46(6), Stewards placed conditions on Ms Westwood's license pending further review.

1 Lochinvar Jazz – Severely checked approaching the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

5 Awesome Ability – Checked approaching the first turn. Severely checked through the first turn and gave significant ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a suspected off fore wrist sprain. Awesome Ability was subsequently stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.

Race 12 - BRISGREYS.COM MA5 (2) 331m

2 Petite Swagger – Checked shortly after the start. Commenced to ease entering the first turn and failed to finish the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury. Steward’s spoke to trainer D Pearce regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse (3^rd offence). The greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 3 months at all tracks and must complete two satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
