Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN (1) 331m

1. Scale Up Time – Into the back was checked, through the back turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside wrist and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN (2) 331m

8. Jan’s Barbie – Slow to begin, in the back straight was inconvenienced being held up for clear running, raced wide from the back turn until the finish of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN (3) 331m

6. War Admiral – Into the back turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hip support and was stood down from racing for 21 days.

Race 4 - PHOTO MAN NOW AT STUD MAIDEN (4) 331m

2. Sirius Jessica – Entering the home straight shifted out abruptly making heavy contact with the runner to its outside. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer D Johnstone regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Johnstone, stewards deemed Sirius Jessica had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Sirius Jessica was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial.

7. Tequila Star – Rounding the home turn was galloped and dragged down. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside wrist and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 5 - ORSON ALLEN @ METICULOUS LODGE NOVICE 331m

2. Tuta Panta – In the back straight was severely checked falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside fore foot split webbing and was stood down from racing for 5 days.

9. Wobbly Flyer – Through the back turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 6 – SKY RACING PATHWAYS GRADE 5 331m

8. Pitter Patter – Slow to begin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards questioned trainer’s representative A Boody regarding the greyhounds below market expectations performance. Ms Boody stated the greyhound usually pings the lids/start however tonight missing the start was detrimental to its performance. Ms Boody further added they had changed the greyhound’s usual training routine this week and that they did not support either of their runners in tonight’s event.

Race 7 - ORCHESTRATE @ STUD 0400 351 880 GRADE 5 (1) 331m

2. Game One – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Handler P McBlane was issued a warning under GAR 105(10)(c) neither the starter nor any other person attracts the attention of any greyhounds once they are placed in the starting boxes.

Race 8 - MARBURG PUB MIXED 3/4 331m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 9 - GET IT GIZMO @ NEWHAVEN STUD GRADE 5 (2) 331m

2. Cosmic Shadow – Into the back turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside wrist and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 10 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD MA5 (1) 331m

1. Sunset Matilda – Entering the home straight was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

6. Lochinvar Jazz – Through the back turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside wrist and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

8. Poker Alice – Late scratching at 3:14pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the veterinary official found the greyhound to have eye injury during kennelling. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Race 11 – CARINA LEAGUES CLUB GRADE 5

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 12 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB MA5 (2) 331m
