General: Stewards inspected the track after the running of race 9 and were satisfied that it was safe to continue racing.

Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN 2 395m

4 Kingsbrae Honey – Eased and turned its head outward making contact with another runner in the home straight.

Steward’s spoke to trainer Dean Clarson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring 1^st offence – 28 days stand down at Albion Park and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

5 Siena Rocks – Severely checked and fell entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

8 Canya Fly – Severely checked entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 2 395m

6 Rita’s Speed – Made contact with the rail on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 2 395m

3 Heckle – Checked entering the back straight, severely checked in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

5 Pieman – Slow to begin, severely checked in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Trainer Paul Sutton stated that the greyhound has been very stirred up the last two starts after the preview and as a result has not been standing as well in the starting boxes or beginning as well as its previous starts, therefore he intends to try not previewing the greyhound in future event. Stewards noted the submissions.

Race 4 - THE DEEPAK APPRECIATION STAKES MIXED 4/5 2 395m

5 Where’s The Ford – Severely checked entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

2 I’m Peakin – Performed below market expectations. Checked approaching the first turn, checked off heels entering the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 9 - GET IT GIZMO @ NEWHAVEN STUD GRADE 5 (1) 2 395m

5 Julane Ava – Slow to begin, made contact with the rail on the first turn, severely checked passing the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

7 Midnight Blast – Became unbalanced and fell passing the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hind leg injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

8 Bernardo Bowl – Faulted in its action in the back straight then gave ground and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hock injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 10 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD GRADE 5 (2) 2 395m

2 Lock It In - Late scratching at 1.25pm due to a weight variation pursuant to GAR 101(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Gary Keep was fine $100.00 pursuant to GAR 101(3)(b).

4 Miss Captivator - Late scratching at 1.25pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have near fore toe injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

Race 11 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB GRADE 5 (3) 2 395m

4 Kingston Apache - Severely checked in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 12 - BRISGREYS.COM MA5 2 395m

1 Hozier Monelli – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race.
