Hudson Bay – In the home straight turned its head outward making muzzle contact with the runner to its outside. Stewards spoke to trainers Mr D Gladman regarding the greyhound’s racing manners, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Hudson Bay had made muzzle contact therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. Hudson Bay was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Bent Street - Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 106(2)(a). |
