5 Devastator – Through the first turn faulted in its action. Gave significant ground and took no further competitive part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside hindleg. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing. |

8 Nightmare Moon – Through the first turn and entering the home straight gave significant ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside back muscle. Under the provisions of GAR41(1), the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing. |
