General: After
inspecting the track after race 2 stewards had concerns regarding the
safety of the surface after considerable rainfall prior to the meeting and
during race 1 and 2. Stewards went back 2 races to give the track an
opportunity to improve, a further inspection was carried out with no
improvement noticed. Race 3-12 were abandoned after it the racing surface
was deemed not safe for racing.

3 I’m Sandwiches Severely checked shortly
after the start. Underwent a post- race veterinary examination which
revealed no apparent abnormalities.
4 Churchill Hayze Shifted in in the home
straight and bumped on numerous occasions with the runner to its inside.
Stewards spoke trainer S Hunt regarding the actions of the greyhound in the
home straight. After looking at all available footage and taking
submissions from the trainer stewards elected not to any action against the
greyhound.

8 Major Reisman Shifted out and bumped on
numerous occasions with the greyhound to its outside. Turned its head
outwards approaching the winning post and eased for a number of strides.
Underwent a post- race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent
abnormalities. The greyhound was charged under Gar 124 failure to pursue 1st
offence and stood down for 28 days at Albion Park and must complete one
trial satisfactory trial prior to nomination.
