Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN 331m

No significant racing incidents.

Race 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 331m

No significant racing incidents.

Race 3 - TAB NOVICE (1) 331m

1 Munxar Queen- Checked shortly after the start and commenced to weaken. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any significant findings. Stewards spoke to Mr Ashley Bock the trainer of Munxar Queen regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 129, Munxar Queen must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Race 4 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE (2) 331m

No significant racing incidents.

Race 5 - XMAS FUNCTIONS @ BRISGREYS MA5 331m

1 What A Nose- Checked in the back straight. Had a tendency to race wide when entering the turns out of the back straight and into the home straight, forcing No Personality wider. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside shoulder and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

Race 6 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 331m

3 Comical Bill- Underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request which revealed and injury to the near hind foot. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Race 7 - SKY RACING GRADE 4 331m

No significant racing incidents.

Race 8 - ORCHESTRATE @ STUD 0400 351 880 BEST 8 331m

No significant racing incidents.

Race 9 - MARBURG PUB GRADE 5 (1) 331m

8 Digital Sea- Severely checked and fell entering the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which an injury to the offside hind leg and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

Race 10 - GET IT GIZMO @ NEWHAVEN STUD GRADE 5 (2) 331m

6 Shiva Dragon- Trainer’s representative Mr Josh Priest reported concerns to On- Track veterinarian following retrieval of the greyhound from the kennel block. Initial diagnosis was that the greyhound was exhibiting signs of Gastric dilatation and volvulus (GDV) and was sent for immediate veterinary attention with an external animal hospital. Shiva Dragon was stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory trial before returning to racing.  

Race 11 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD GRADE 5 (3) 331m

8 Crown Of Rock- Very slow to begin. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an abrasion to the offside hind leg and was stood down for a period of 3 days. Stewards spoke to Mr Ashley Bock the trainer of Crown Of Rock regarding its performance at the start of this event. A warning was placed against the greyhound for its box manners.

Race 12 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB 5PW 331m

7 Cosmic Warrior- Commenced to weaken entering the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post- race veterinary examination which did not reveal any significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Ian Roberts regarding the greyhound’s performance, Mr Roberts advised that it is his intention to retire the greyhound following today’s disappointing performance.
