5 Howdy Emma – Turned it’s head outwards and made muzzle contact with another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Travis Elson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Albion Park and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
6 Travis’s Scrub – Checked entering the first turn and leaving the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
8 Hara’s Nelly – Checked heavily and ran wide leaving the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. |

A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
