Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE (1) 520m

4. Duffman – Into the first turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 2 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE NOVICE (2) 520m

4. Daysea’s Kurt – Approaching the back turn made contact with the running rail and put in an awkward stride as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 3 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 5 (1) 520m

No racing incidents of concerns.

Race 4 - TAB - VENUE MODE FFA 600m

6. Blue Hornet – Performed below market expectations. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hock and offside pin. A 10 day stand down from racing was imposed. Trainer M Burman stated she was very disappointed with the way the greyhound performed in tonight’s event, she also added the greyhound will be having a further veterinary assessment in the coming days and report the findings stewards.

Race 5 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE GRADE 5 (2) 520m

No racing incidents of concerns.

Race 6 - SKY RACING 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 600m

1. Cash It In – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. When asked to comment on tonight’s performance, Trainer T Britton stated he was disappointed with tonight’s run, and he was of the view the greyhound would run well tonight. Mr Britton further added the greyhound has been getting back in its last five starts which has proved detrimental in the greyhound performing below its best. Mr Britton advised stewards he would be getting a veterinary health assessment on the greyhound in the coming days and report any finding to stewards.

Race 7 - NEWHAVEN STUD FARM 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 600m

No racing incidents of concerns.

Race 8 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE GRADE 4 520m

No racing incidents of concerns.

Race 9 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD BEST 8 520m

7. Magistrate – Approaching the back turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 10 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB GRADE 5 (3) 520m

No racing incidents of concerns.

Race 11 - BRISGREYS.COM MA5 (1) 520m

8. Hopeful Lana – In the back straight commenced to weaken. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hip support. A 14 day stand down from racing was imposed.

Race 12 - TWITTER @ BRISGREYS MA5 (2) 520m

6. High Sun – Through the first turn was checked, approaching the back turn was checked, rounding the home turn put in an awkward stride appearing injured. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hock. A 90 day stand down from racing was imposed.

Trainer W Crick was advised the greyhound must successfully complete stewards’ trial prior to racing next.
