Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 2 395m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 2 395m

Wild Taurean - Underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.

Buffalo Barney - Checked shortly after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Rounding the top turn the greyhound turned its head outwards taking its attention away from the lure. Stewards spoke to trainer R Ayres regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Buffalo Barney did take its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Buffalo Barney was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of one satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 2 395m

Who’s Nan – In the home straight the greyhound turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with a runner to its outside. Stewards spoke to trainer representative D Pearce regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ representative submissions, stewards deemed that Who’s Nan did make head contact with the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 2nd offence under this rule Who’s Nan was suspended from racing at all tracks for 28 days and until the completion of one satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 4 - TAB - VENUE MODE 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 2 395m

My Mac Dan – Severely checked and fell entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

Travis’s Scrub - Severely checked and lost momentum entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

Arabian Again - Severely checked and lost momentum entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

Race 5 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 2 395m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 6 - SKY RACING GRADE 4 2 395m

Grace Is Ace - Severely checked and lost momentum entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a hock injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 60 days and until the completion of one satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Double Up Bill – Entering the home straight the greyhound turned its head inwards and made muzzle contact with a runner to its inside. Stewards spoke to trainer T Elson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Double Up Bill did make head contact with the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1^st offence under this rule Double Up Bill was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of one satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 7 - NEWHAVEN STUD FARM GRADE 5 3 520m

Pronouns - Beaten favourite. A post-race urine sample was obtained.

Race 8 - MARBURG PUB OPEN FINAL OPEN 1 395m

Hello Bill - A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside bicep injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 60 days and until the completion of one satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 9 - GET IT GIZMO @ NEWHAVEN STUD 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 2 395m

Danger Zone – Beaten Favourite. Severely checked and lost momentum entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

Springvale Chip - Severely checked and lost momentum entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

Race 10 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 2 395m

Springvale Coco – Began to give ground in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 11 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB MA5 2 395m

Race 12 - BRISGREYS.COM MIXED 4/5 2 331m

Sunset Matilda - Began to give ground in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 7 days.
