2 Pickle And Jean – Bumped with another runner entering the back straight, checked entering the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hip injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainer Cecil Druery regarding the greyhounds racing action entering the back straight. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt if it had contravened any rule.
