3 Larry- Was galloped on from behind and was severely checked in the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside wrist and was stood down for 7 days. |

Race 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN 331m |

4 Sirius Charlie- Came up with the lids and was slow away. Trailed field for remainder of event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities. Stewards spoke to Mr D Johnstone regarding Sirius Charlie’s performance in today’s event. Mr Johnstone stated that it was out of character for the greyhound to miss the start and this impacted his ability to be competitive. Mr Johnstone further added that it was the greyhounds second race start, and first at this track. Stewards issued a warning against the greyhound and will closely monitor its future performances. |

6 Altair- Severely checked in the back straight causing the greyhound to fall and take no further competitive part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities. |

1 Powder Keg- Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race. |

4 Super Scrub- Stewards spoke to Mr T Elson the trainer of Super Scrub as some noticeable betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards. Mr Elson stated that the greyhound has above average ability and that he expected a performance that of todays from the greyhound. Mr Elson added that Super Scrub had been racing over 520m, however, had been weakening late and Mr Elson intentionally dropped him back in distance and endeavours to return to 520m racing in coming starts. |

4 Noble Gambler- Beaton favourite. Checked entering the turn off the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities. |

5 Lava Flow- Late scratching at 4.39pm due to the greyhound not being presented in the required kennelling time GAR 86(1). Due to the circumstances surrounding the non–presentation trainer, Mr R Hazelgrove was fined $300, A 10 day stand down period was imposed for Lava Flow. |
